Tracking at Abbotts Lagoon.
What an incredibly memorable outing!
We found tracks of many animals including river otters, raccoons, coyote, great horned owl, and mice.
But tracks weren’t the only things we saw. To our delight, we also witnessed the playful splashes of a family of four river otters in the afternoon.
Along with dozens of sandy fluffballs known as snowy plovers, wintering on the beach.
